New Monte Carlo Integration Models for Underwater Wireless Optical Communication

Underwater wireless optical communications are knowing a high interest in recent years, with many military and civil applications. The design of efficient systems relies on powerful simulation tools. most used algorithms based paper from 1989, written by Prahl designed for light propagation through human tissue. This method Monte Carlo Simulation, following the path photon participating media. As such, it is difficult to propose evolution or optimization. In addition, large amount photons needed obtain good results low error, e.g. turbid water. With Integration method, there exist lot optimization techniques reduce variance. proposes mathematical formalization water any other medium as an integral problem. Therefore, opens way number future optimizations. A very straightforward simple variance reduction technique proposed example. Our show that this new has lower sample expected, thus better convergence rates.
